This Pride month, we are proud to announce our limited-edition Pours for Pride cocktail menu in partnership with award-winning Mixologist Fanny Chu (@lilfannyfoofu) and popular food Influencer Sal DiBenedetto (@thegrubfather) which will be raising money for the Hetrick Martin-Institute.
From Wednesday, June 15 and going through the end of the month, both Flatiron and Bryant Park will be serving THREE speciality pride cocktails. $1 of each cocktail purchased throughout the duration of their run will be donated to the Hetrick Martin-Institute, a New York City-based non-profit organization devoted to serving the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning youth between the ages of 13 and 24, and their families.
Sal and Fanny got together, played with flavor and spirit profiles, and created the Let’s Have a Kiki Colada, Queer as a Cucumber, and Dancing Queen.
✨ Let's Have A Kiki Colada ✨
Bacardi Premium Ocho, Giffard Bleu Curaçao, Giffard Crème de Pêche de Vigne, Coco mix, lemon
If you like Pina Coladas try this delicious, fun, blue version using peach instead of pineapple and elevated with Bacardi premium Ocho rum. Served over crushed ice with an umbrella, orchid, and edible glitter. Every sip will transport you to the beach or pool.
✨ Dancing Queen ✨
Grey Goose Essence Watermelon Basil, Martini & Rossi Fiero, lemon, ginger ale
The rich, juicy rosé melon and garden-picked peppery basil of Grey Goose Essence Watermelon Basil and the slight bittersweet orange notes of Martini Fiero, fresh lemon juice, and topped off with a hint of spicy effervescence of ginger ale combine to meet for a taste that's bright and refreshing. A lighter yet complex version of a Moscow Mule where it quenches your thirst whilst dancing all day and night.
✨ Queer As A Cucumber ✨
Tequila Cazadores Silver, St. Germain, cucumber, agave, lime
The slight sweetness and floral notes of elderflower and agave balances the vegetal notes from the tequila and cucumber giving you a light, flavorful, refreshing, and well-balanced margarita.
About the Hetrick Martin-Institute
The Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) creates a safer environment for all LGBTQIA+ youth ages 13 through 24 by cultivating youth co-led programs that are unwaveringly anti-racist, queer and transgender affirming, sex and body positive, anti-classist, healing-centered, liberation-focused, and widely accessible. Our approach to positive youth development is one that seeks first to build a loving, supportive community and sense of belonging between LGBTQIA+ youth and caring, dependable adult service providers, where we offer youth the essential direct services and referrals they need to grow. Through our community-centered, innovative, and culturally responsive frameworks of youth engagement, HMI aims to endow all of our youth members both with a sense of pride and empowerment, and the tools they need to transition confidently into the future.
