From Lobster Tail Yu Sheng to Spring Festival twists on the classic Whiskey Sour, Burger & Lobster Raffles & Jewel present bountiful dishes and cocktails to usher in the lunar new year.

From 18 to 29 January 2023, Burger & Lobster in Singapore present a lavish feast to usher in the Year of the Rabbit. Inspired by joyful reunions at the family table, the festive indulgence will leave lingering memories of delightful fresh seafood paired with familiar Chinese ingredients and four refreshing cocktails to heighten the revelry.

A celebration of Spring’s finest flavours at Raffles Hotel

What better way to celebrate the Lunar new Year than with the emblematic Yu Sheng? Made from whole steamed lobster tails, pomelo, toasted sesame, wakame, assorted carrot, seaweed, Chinese cracker, pickled red chilli, flying fish roe, cured ginger and an aromatic roasted sesame dressing, the B&L Lobster Tail Yu Sheng ($60++ for two tails) is a carefully constructed dish by Chef Raja that highlights freshness and a symphony of flavours. For a boozy pairing, diners may opt for either the Osmanthus Sour or Longan Red Date Highball, each priced at $22++. A unique take on the classic whiskey sour, the Osmanthus Sour is made with Osmanthus-infused Botanist gin, citrus and egg white for a frothy finish, along with fragrant notes from the Osmanthus Syrup.  A fruity and fizzy concoction of Chivas 13 Sherry Cask, Longan Red date syrup and Perrier, the Longan Red Date Highball bodes well with the freshest seafood.

Warm nostalgic company beckons at Jewel Changi Airport

At the Jewel Changi Airport, diners can enjoy the comforting tastes of Cantonese and Hong Kong culinary specialties right beside the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. These include Chef Noor’s Cantonese-style Sweet Sour Lobster Tail with Crispy Ginger and Sesame Seeds ($25++/tail) and Hong Kong-styled Steamed Lobster Tail with Sweet Soya Sauce ($25++/tail) decorated with crispy garlic and ginger, for delectable masterpieces that are both inviting and cherished at intimate gatherings. Complementing the heart-warming dishes are the Reunion Star ($22++) – made from Chivas 13 Bourbon Star, Frangelico and blend of Orange, Cinnamon and Star Anise Juice, as well as the Chrysanthemum Sour ($22++), another spin on the Whiskey sour through a concoctive blend of Chrysanthemum Botanist Gin, Longan syrup, Calamansi Juice and Sour plum syrup.
